I have been working with technology since the mid-1990’s when I attended college(s) here and here. I have been focused on Oracle technology since 1998 as a database administrator and many-other-things administrator including security, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle Identity Management, and various other products and tools. I  serve as a volunteer to several professional organizations. I am the President of the Oracle RAC Special Interest Group (RAC SIG), the Director of Database Server Technologies for the Chicago Oracle Users Group, and the chairperson of the Development DBA Special Interest Group for ODTUG. I also enjoy creating and maintaining relationships with many other technologists in other companies including Oracle. I was an Oracle ACE Director, but “graduated” from the program once I became an Oracle employee.

Today, I work at Oracle Corporation in the X | MAA Team focused on Oracle Exadata and its related technologies and products.
